Total Life Cares offers telehealth services to increase access to mental health care while
maintaining high standards of quality, privacy, and person-centered support. Telehealth allows
eligible individuals to receive services remotely when clinically appropriate and permitted by
payer guidelines, including Medicaid and other insurance providers.

Services are delivered through HIPAA-compliant technology and are designed to reduce
barriers such as transportation challenges, scheduling limitations, or geographic distance.

Telehealth Services May Include

Telehealth may be used to provide eligible services such as:

Individual outpatient counseling

Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment (CPST), when appropriate

Psychoeducation and skills development

Supportive interventions aligned with individualized service plans

Care coordination and follow-up contacts

Medication management appointments through contracted, licensed prescribers

Services are provided in accordance with federal and state regulations, Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) requirements, and payer-specific policies, while remaining responsive to individual needs and preferences.

Total Life Cares utilizes secure, HIPAA-compliant platforms to protect client confidentiality and ensure privacy. Telehealth services follow the same ethical, professional, and documentation standards as in-person services and are delivered by qualified staff within their scope of practice.

Telehealth is offered only when it is appropriate for the service type, the individual’s needs, and
the service setting.
